My Empty Body is Full of Stars revolves around the interplay and wonder of the body within the universe and the evolution of matter in the Cosmos. Galactic scale physical processes, provided by astronomer Andreea Petric, are played out on the physical form through dance composition, lighting, music, and live painting. Seven Prince Dance Company performers transform the space into a galaxy of movement while the visual environment is reimagined by Maris Gobins and video projectionist David Kupferburg. The score is an original composition by Big Empty Field with choreography and direction by Angel Prince.
