Paying tribute to the songs of C&K in their original style, just like the records, including highlights of events & songs throughout Henry’s career. This epic night includes Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winners; Gaylord Holomalia (keyboards), Alx Kawakami (guitar), Johnny Valentine (guitar), and the boys in the band; Matt Krahula (bass), Wendell Ching (drums), and Lopaka Colon (percussion). Keep an eye out for a few additional special guests that will be added to the festivities!
This will be an exciting party honoring Henry Kapono’s legacy spanning over five decades of music, leadership, and community support. This historic concert will recreate those epic nights of playing to sold‐out crowds, the music of C&K takes us back to a simpler time while bringing everyone together with the laid‐back island rock offering the soundtrack to growing up in Hawaiߵi, that remains as relevant and influential in Hawaiߵi’s music scene today as it did in the ‘70s.
